His Evening Walk

This elderly gentleman takes a walk each evening, and I missed a good photo of him day before yesterday when he stopped to rest on a bench on the courthouse square and cocked the bill of his cap off to the west to block the sun. While driving down the street yesterday, though, I saw him stop to take a look at the back of a building where some construction is being done. After he had taken it all in, he moved slowly down the sidewalk for the rest of his evening walk.
Comments:
Seeing this man looking at the faded signs painted on the side of the building reminds me of a feature in the Hutch News a few weeks ago in which they showed some of the old painted signs around town which were still visible. Those signs probably brought back a few memories!

I didn't see that story. However, I've done some photography of old signs painted on buildings here in town and have them on file.
