Not What It Used To Be

I had to take some time off one afternoon a couple of months ago when it was still cold and snowy, so I drove around with a camera after my appointment. This is near Redwing, KS. A lot of train track has been torn up around the State, but this line is still used. Unfortunately, the Redwing General Store doesn't exist any more. It used to be a place where hunters going to Cheyenne Bottoms would stop. A sense of loss, urgency, and the rapid passing of time seems to be lurking beneath the surface......

nice work. use the rule of 1/4 sky in any photo and it'll focus more on the subject than the clouds. Keep snapping.m.

I thank you for, and agree with, your suggestion. I have to admit I got lazy on this one and didn't want to get out of my car and into the cold to do it right. Instead, I shot through the passenger side window and it restricted what I could do. Thanks again for your visit.
